Warframe – Venato Prime Build and Review

With Caliban Prime Access out in Warframe, he came with a unique sniper rifle, the Vadarya Prime. But he had a signature weapon back in the day, known as the Venato. Obviously, this weapon has fallen to the wayside due to its lack of a useful, unique trait. This was rectified in the Prime version. It not only has a lot of enhanced stats, but also has the ability to offer a little something to every loadout. Here is our recommended build and our review of the weapon!

Venato Prime Build in Warframe

Below is the build for the Venato Prime, which you will only need 1 forma for:

Warframe Venato Prime Build

Considering its unique trait to add a Tau status effect to enemies. I went for a Melee Influence build that allows for Gas damage to spread to all enemies as quickly as possible. I also opted for Magnetic Rush instead of Fury or Quickening to add a little more damage as well as more swing speed to the scythe. Combining all of this with the usual critical stat fixings optimized it for Steel Path usage.

Venato Prime Review

The Venato Prime is not only a massive step up from its original version. But it is also a great scythe overall. It hits like a truck, adds status vulnerability, and can swing fast enough to not have to rely on mods like Fury or Quickening. I was hoping the combo counter bonus would have been scrapped in favor of something else entirely when it’s being used with Caliban, especially since it does not have an incarnon, but the new Tau status effect trigger is useful enough to ignore that lackluster trait.
